Classification Revision of Variable Stars

I have taken a look at around 14 variable stars and their current classification, and found several that I would like to recommend revision on after looking at newer data. Two of the most notable were the stars ASAS J011054-1857.6 and ASAS J082143-2308.4. ASAS J082143-2308.4, Which I will refer to as “Star 1” from now on, was originally classified quite ambiguously as DCEP-FO|RRAB|EC|ESD. After recalculating the period of the star, I found a difference of 2.44E-05, which is quite significant with such small numbers. Figure 1 below shows the periodogram of star 1, which- along with its new period- led me to classify this star more strictly as DCEP-FO.

The other star I would like to draw attention to is ASAS J011054-1857.6, which will now be referred to as “Star 2”. Star 2 was originally classified as RRC, but had a period of 0.2333496, where I found a period of 0.2333496 giving a large difference of 7.13E-02. After looking at the periodogram seen in Figure 2 below, I kept the classification the same as RRC, but believe a revision on the period is quite necessary.
