Yesterday, June 18th, was our dear friend Alison’s last day at the Murray Library. She is leaving us to take on the challenge of her first ever librarian job – as Director of the Theological Union Libraries! We know she’ll still be on campus most of the time, but we won’t be able to see her as much as we used to, and we’re very sad about that.

In honour of Alison’s love for 83 cent Polar Pops from Mac’s, we decided to decorate her desk with Polar Pop cups on her last day in the office. Several of Alison’s coworkers spent hours creating paper flowers with which to decorate the cups. Alison was very surprised when she came in to work yesterday morning! We’re glad we could make her laugh.

We also had a food day for Alison. Does anyone want leftovers? There are still some cheezies and stale chips in room 122!
