POLS 222 Course Site
This course utilizes a variety of embedded learning apps (including H5P content) to engage students with the learning material and allow them to check their understanding as they proceed through each module. Assessment components, including private Learning Journals and Midterm Exams, are accessible to enrolled students via PAWS and an accompanying Blackboard course portal.

Astronomy of Planets is a website about planetary astronomy showcasing research that was conducted by Astronomy 104 students at the University of Saskatchewan during the Winter 2016 term.
DEU | instructional design team
This site is a Work in Progress, but will outline the services and work from the Instructional Design Team of the Usask’s Distance Education Unit (DEU). This site will not only provide information about the ID team, but will be a portal for faculty and instructors to find creative solutions to teaching online.
ETAD 402: Multimedia Design & Production
This Education, Technology and Design course introduces teachers to instructional design principles as they relate to multimedia resource design. Students work through weekly challenges and major assignments to create a portfolio of media constructed from core multimedia elements.
At the start of 2016 Educational Technology and Design professor, Marguerite Koole founded the Educational Technology Critique or ETC Makerspace. This WordPress site not only provides an archive of the makerspace events and projects along with a schedule and location information, but will be used to collect data for upcoming research projects related to makerspace education in k-12 and post-secondary. Currently the ETC Committee is working to put together an application for SSHRC funding in the spring of 2016.
PLSC 234 Student Developed Management Resources
This resources website showcases research and analysis developed by the students of PLSC 234. This course examines the principles and practices of weed management in organic agriculture. Students are asked to produce crop and weed profiles as well as summaries for weed management techniques, which they use in their major assignment of creating a complete 6 year Crop Rotation Management Plan. These profile documents and management summaries are now publicly available here on the Resources Website for PLSC 234.

The WordPress engine allows for advanced embedding options which allows us to design and layout content with greater flexibility and appeal creating a better overall user experience and a more engaged learner.
