About Hal Segal: Hal Segal returned to academia 50 years after earning his Master Degree,
after a career as a serial entrepreneur and newpaper columnist. His focus is now on policy
entrepreneurship to facilitate climate change mitigation in Canada. In 2024, he authored
three articles in Canada’s National Observer on climate issues.
