Public Intoxication/Medical (The Bowl)

At 6:30 PM Special Constables were contacted to assist an intoxicated male found unconscious in The Bowl.


The male was found laying on a bench, and had consumed an unknown amount of alcohol. When Special Constables attempted to revive the male he became combative and attempted to strike the officers. The male then tried to strike the officers with a rock. At this point the male was arrested.
Due to the level of intoxication the male was transported to St. Paul’s Hospital by MD Ambulance. Charges are pending at this time.
Campus Safety encourages the campus community to plan a safe night out. Always arrange for a designated driver, and familiarize yourself with the locations you are attending. If you plan on going out, plan on getting home safe.
