The Department of Campus Safety wishes to advise motorists that the vehicle speed limit on Perimeter Road has been lowered from 50 km/hr to 40 km/hr.

The Department of Campus Safety also wishes to advise motorists that as a means of assisting them in adjusting to this decrease, it will be positioning its RADAR speed trailer alongside that roadway in upcoming weeks. Designed to be used primarily as an educational rather than an enforcement tool, the trailer prominently displays for comparison purposes both the posted speed limit and the RADAR-derived speed of an approaching vehicle.
