In a continuing effort to combat drinking and driving on the University of Saskatchewan’s roadways Campus Safety increased enforcement for the evening of November 3.

On November 3, Campus Safety issued the following:
1 AGRA Offence Notice – This refers to the Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act. Offence Notices were issued for offences such as Open Container of Alcohol in a Vehicle, Minor Possess Beverage Alcohol, etc.
7 TSA Offence Notices – Offences under the Traffic Safety Act include traffic offences such as Speeding, Fail to Yield to a Pedestrian at a Marked Crosswalk, Fail to Stop for Stop Sign, etc.
3 24-Hour Suspensions – 24-Hour Suspensions are issued to drivers whose blood alcohol content (BAC) is over 40 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood (.04 mg/%). Drivers are taken off the road, their driver’s licence is suspended for 24 hours, and the vehicle the driver was operating is impounded.
