Microsoft is reporting that tens of thousands of individuals have already been infected by viruses as caused by a critical flaw in their Internet Explorer web browser. There is no patch available at this time….

Campus Safety recommends that you switch to a different browser for your uses for the time being, or follow Microsoft’s instructions on how to increase your IE security.

Update: Microsoft stated it will release a patch to solve the problem sometime on Wednesday December 17th, 2008. Please keep an eye on the Campus Safety IT Alerts page for a link to download the patch.
