Sometime between 1715H and 1745H on 03 January 2007, a lap top computer was stolen from a study carrel located on the third floor of the Main Library.
According to information obtained by the investigating Special Constable, the complainant embarked on a search for a book at approximately 1715H and left a lap top computer valued at approximately $2000.00 unattended in a study carrel located on the third floor of the Main Library. Further, upon completing the book search and returning to the carrel at 1745H, the complainant discovered the computer missing and apparently stolen. In the aftermath of the discovery, the complainant questioned students working nearby but was unable to obtain any information about either the identity of the perpetrator(s) or the location of the computer.
