Medical Call (Physical Activity Complex)

On 24 January 2007 at approximately 1136H, Department of Campus Safety Special Constables attended the Physical Activity Complex to assist an injured male.


On 24 January 2007 at approximately 1136H, MD Ambulance Dispatch contacted the Department of Campus Safety to advise that EMS personnel were responding to a report of an injured male in the Physical Activity Complex and to request assistance. In accordance with the request, Special Constables attended the facility and provided care for the male, an employee who had sustained traumatic injuries in a work-related fall, until paramedics arrived. The male was subsequently transported to hospital for further assessment and treatment.
Health, Safety and Environment officials continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
