Please be aware of the following telephone scam currently going through the province:

An unknown entity is sequentially dialing telephone numbers across the province of Saskatchewan informing the recipient that they have won a prize or travel voucher and to press 1 to continue. There are multiple source numbers for this scam, but at least two are known – both appearing to come from the same exchange: 731-200-9898 and 731-200-8989.
Campus Safety advises that you not respond to the confirmation as it may result in further calls from the same, or other scammers in the future. Additionally, it could result in the acceptance of long distance charges. Should you receive such a call, hang up the phone immediately.
