The TRU Writer is a tool that allows people to publish their writing, including rich media content, without needing to login or understand the backend of WordPress.
Once installed the TRU Writer theme allows individuals to generate content online using an rich text editor interface. Writers can also add content by cutting and then pasting into the editor from word-processing software such as MS Word or Google Docs, carrying forward most structural formatting.
On upload, the person who shares it creates a title, any kind of descriptive information to go along with it, and add tags and/or categories to organize the item. Visitors to the TRU Writer can sort and view the content based on the title, categories, and tags.
The administrator of a TRU Writer can choose to enable input fields for a creators name (for attribution), an open license, and to provide a cut and paste attribution text.
