video production
Lights, Camera, Action!
Overview
This week we will learn about the tremendous value of pre-production techniques including proper production planning, storyboarding and script writing. We'll take a look at some terminology that will help you to talk the talk and some tools and techniques for pre-production activities that will have you walking the walk.
We'll also look at some basics of the video production stage. Building on the composition techniques we learned in the digital imaging section of this course, you'll take these techniques to the next level by adding motion and movement to your framing. We'll also build on your audio skills by applying them to a synced moving image.
Lastly we will look at what to do once it's in the can. Editing in a non-linear editing program such as Adobe Premiere can take a random assortment of shots and b-roll and make it into a movie masterpiece. Adding titles, effects, transitions and more to your video creations while, again, building on the editing techniques you learned in Audacity. We'll then look at how to publish and distribute your masterpiece nad get it to the audience you intended.
