Undergraduate Project Symposium

The University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union, with support from the Office of the President, the Office of the Vice President Research, the City of Saskatoon, the Remai Modern, and Vice-Provost of Teaching, Learning and Student Experience are pleased to present the Undergraduate Project Symposium.

The Undergraduate Project Symposium is an annual event highlighting the research, scholarly and artistic works of undergraduate students at the University of Saskatchewan. This year includes the newly formed mini-conference to celebrate the humanities and allows participants will present for five minutes on their projects.

Monthly Clothing Swap

Clean out your closet, refresh your wardrobe, save money, and donate! The USSU will be hosting the popular clothing swap on Jan 18, 9am-2pm in the North Concourse, Place Riel. Clothing can be dropped off at the USSU office in Place Riel leading up to the Clothing Swap on Friday!

Term 2 U-Pass Important Dates

December 3, 2018

Term 2 U-Pass stickers are available. Stickers can be picked up or reactivated at the Information Centre in Upper Place Riel.
* If you received a U-Pass sticker in the past you will be required to reactivate the sticker at the Information Centre.

December 3, 2018

Opt-Out applications may be submitted online to the USSU.

December 31, 2018

Term 1 U-Pass stickers are deactivated at the end of the day. Term 2 U-Pass will be required effective January 1, 2019.

January 1, 2019

Term 2 U-Pass stickers are activated. If you have received or reactivated your U-Pass sticker for Term 2, you will be able to access City Transit with your U-Pass.

January 16, 2019

Last day to apply for Term 2 Opt-Outs. Completed online applications are due no later than 4:30 p.m.

April  30, 2019

Term 2 U-Pass stickers are deactivated at the end of the day.

Volunteers Needed

The USSU is looking for undergraduate students to test a new U-Pass/Student Card. If you currently have a student card and U-Pass and would like to volunteer to test a potential new card system, please sign up at the USSU office, located on the main level of Place Riel (next to the Information Centre) by January 18, 2019.

This campaign takes a proactive stance to address student conduct, by equipping students with the knowledge that the need to be responsible members of the University community. This campaign includes a variety of information sessions and an interactive pop-up table.
