The University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union (USSU) is conducting elections for the USSU Executive and University Senate. Voting ends at 4pm TODAY ( Thursday, March 30).

All eligible voters will have access to the My Election channel in PAWS. Additionally, a notice of the election will appear in PAWS as a larger “sticky” announcement at the top of the PAWS Announcements feed and will not disappear until dismissed by individual users (with “Vote now” or “No thanks” buttons) or the close of the election.

Academic and Governance Assistant

The USSU is seeking a student assistant to provide support to the Executive as the Academic and Governance Assistant, working with the VP Academic Affairs on academic grievances, Teaching Excellence nominations, and Experience in Excellence Awards, to transcribe minutes from recordings of University Student Council, executive meeting minutes, prepare University Student Council packages, and to support front office staff.

The Event and Social Media Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting executive events and programs. They would be responsible for the coordination and implementation of USSU executive social media channels and growing the USSU’s reach to undergraduate students.

Student Graphic and Media Designer 

The Student Graphic and Media Designer works with the Communications and Marketing Manager to develop and complete communication initiatives, including print, web, video editing, and digital materials that promote and maximize awareness of the USSU, its operations, and its services.
