U-Pass is the USSU undergraduate transit pass, offering students significant savings on transportation. The U-Pass is mandatory for full and part-time undergraduate students at the U of S. Visit ussu.ca/upass for Opt-Out information and to learn how to set up your smartphone as your U-Pass.
Winter term U-Pass can be loaded on your phone, but can’t be activated until January 1st. Winter term U-Pass allows you to access Saskatoon Transit from January 1st to April 30th.
Opt-out applications may be submitted online for eligible students enrolled in the Winter Term. You will be required to submit a U-Pass opt-out application each term.
Fall term U-Pass is deactivated at the end of the day. Winter Term U-Pass will be required effective January 1, 2026.
Winter Term U-Pass is active. You can activate your U-Pass on your phone after the start of the term (12:00 am on January 1st for the Winter Term).
Last day to submit opt-out applications for eligible students enrolled in the Winter Term. Completed online forms are due no later than 4:30 pm.
Winter Term U-Pass is deactivated at the end of the day. Spring Term U-Pass will be required effective May 1, 2026.

The University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union (USSU) is seeking an enthusiastic undergraduate student to serve as Elections Coordinator. Reporting to the Communications & Marketing Manager, this role focuses on promoting USSU Elections, encouraging student voter participation, and raising awareness about the importance of student representation. The Elections Coordinator works closely with volunteers, student groups, and campus partners to deliver engaging outreach initiatives, events, and campaigns—both in person and online—while upholding a fair and unbiased election process. This is a great opportunity for a student interested in leadership, democracy, and campus engagement.
This is a part-time, honorarium-based position intended to support student leadership and engagement during the USSU election period. Applicants must be current undergraduate students at the University of Saskatchewan.

This year, the scholarship will be awarded to four deserving students, with each recipient receiving $1,000, supporting their educational journey at USask.
Eligibility Criteria:
1) Open to all undergraduate students at the University of Saskatchewan in good academic standing.
2) A strong record of community service, leadership, and efforts to promote diversity on campus.
3) Applications submitted by USSU employees will not be considered.
Selection Process:
1) The selection process begins with an initial screening by the IT department, ensuring that applications are provided to the USSU executives anonymously, with all identifying information removed. This step is crucial in maintaining a fair and unbiased review process.
2) The USSU Executive will then participate in a review process focusing on leadership, community, diversity, advocacy, and extracurricular activities as the key selection criteria.
