The USSU will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation as it unfolds. Our focus is on ensuring the health of our students and the campus community. The USSU is currently undertaking a series of precautionary steps, including increased cleaning and sanitizing, to help prevent the spread of all germs in Place Riel and Memorial Union Building.

Social Distancing Protocols

In an effort to aid the campus community with social distancing, the USSU has removed a number of seats in lower Place Riel and providing spacing in Louis’ and Louis’ Loft.

The university recommends the following community-based safety measures:

*When possible, keep 2m (6ft) of distance between you and other people, and avoid shaking hands and hugging.
*Minimize in-person meetings and group activities; use phone, teleconference and other technologies for meetings.
*Evaluate the need for bringing in outside people to campus; cancel, reschedule or using other methods for the meeting or activity.

Please visit usask.ca/updates for the most up-to-date information on this rapidly changing situation.
