In this short first week I want you to reflect on what you may already know about theatre. Your experiences may include a school Christmas pageant, a field trip or school assembly that gave you an opportunity to see live theatre, or perhaps you were involved in theatre through-out your days in high school.
Think about the experiences either as a performer and/or an audience member. Think about the theatre itself. The lights, the stage, the props, and costumes. Think about the script and the story. Think about the directions the actors take to tell the story.
Think about what the elements of theatre are capable of when they are combined.
