Form Your Company – M7P1

This week you need to make some collaborative decisions about your theatre company.

1. First, in your Company Groups within Canvas, you’ll need to pick the roles and responsibilities for each theatre company member. Through some discussion with your group you’ll need to choose one of the roles (Director, Costume Designer and Scenic/Set Designer, Promotional and Actor) whose duties you will perform for your production. An overview of the roles and responsibilities can be found in the Assignment details within Canvas.
2. Second, you’ll need to collaboratively come up with a name for your theatre company.
3. Once you’ve decided who’s doing what and what you’ll be called, the Director should put together a Discussion Post that lists the company name, the job titles and the name of who will be performing that job in your Group Discussions.
