Advice from a USask online instructor: Tech is Good – Relationships are Better
Martin Gaal has developed several online courses with the Distance Education Unit’s Instructional Design Team and in this GMCTL event will be introducing talking points on a common blind spot in online teaching, the student-teacher relationship. He will discuss the evolution of his online-teaching, introducing some of the techniques he has used to build a rapport with students–including those that have worked and the many that have not.
